Drug Interactions With Dextroamphetamine

As with any medication, there are potential drug interactions with dextroamphetamine. Taking dextroamphetamine with other medications, such as Benadryl, Haldol, and Thorazine, can cause potential problems. Taking dextroamphetamine within two weeks of taking a MAO inhibitor can result in life-threatening side effects. Some drug interactions involving dextroamphetamine can increase or decrease the amounts of the medications in your blood and may potentially increase your risk of side effects.
