Eszopiclone Interactions Explained

 
Alcohol
When alcohol and eszopiclone are taken at the same time, eszopiclone may increase the effects of the alcohol. It is, therefore, recommended that you do not drink alcohol when taking eszopiclone.
 
Certain Antibiotics or Antifungals
Taking eszopiclone with certain antibiotics or antifungals can increase the level of eszopiclone in the blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Certain Anticonvulsants
Taking eszopiclone with certain anticonvulsants can increase the level of eszopiclone in the blood, increasing your chance of side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
 
Delavirdine (Rescriptor)
Taking eszopiclone with delavirdine can increase the level of eszopiclone in your blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
 
Diclofenac (Cataflam, Voltaren)
Taking eszopiclone with diclofenac can increase the level of eszopiclone in your blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
 
Imatinib (Gleevec)
Taking eszopiclone with imatinib can increase the level of eszopiclone in the blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
 
Nefazodone (Serzone)
Taking eszopiclone with nefazodone can increase the level of eszopiclone in the blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
