Ketoconazole (Nizoral)
Taking ramelteon with ketoconazole can increase the level of ramelteon in the blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
 
Fluvoxamine (Luvox)
Taking ramelteon with fluvoxamine can cause extremely high levels of ramelteon in the blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Do not take these two medications together.
 
Rifampin (Rifadin)
Taking ramelteon with rifampin can decrease the level of ramelteon in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Your healthcare provider may need to adjust your dose of these medications.
