Who Should Not Take Ramelteon?

You should not take ramelteon if you are allergic to ramelteon, Rozerem, or any inactive component used to make ramelteon. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive components used to make ramelteon.
 
People with severe liver problems, including liver failure or cirrhosis, should also not take ramelteon.
