Tamazipam

Temazepam (Restoril®) is a drug that can be prescribed as a short-term treatment for insomnia. It belongs to a class of medications known as benzodiazepines, which work by enhancing the effects of a naturally calming chemical in the brain. Temazepam comes in capsule form and is taken by mouth at bedtime, right before you are ready to fall asleep. Before you begin taking this sleep medicine, make sure your healthcare provider is aware if you have a history of alcohol or drug abuse.
