Who Should Not Take Zaleplon?

You should not take zaleplon if you are allergic to zaleplon, Sonata, or any inactive component used to make the medicine, including FD&C Yellow No. 5 (a dye known as tartrazine). Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the other inactive components.
